Active Participation
- The deadline for abstract submission is 14th April 2009.
- Abstracts are to be submitted by e-mail to mbilej@biomed.cas.cz, and copied to office@congressprague.cz.
- The abstracts must be supplied in the format specified below in the guidelines.
- Please note that the submission of abstracts does not substitute the registration process. In order to be registered as a participant in the event, it is necessary to complete and submit the registration form and reimburse the respective registration fee (see instructions in the section Registration).

Abstracts
The abstract must not exceed 2000 characters. The abstracts of the accepted presentations will be collected in the book of abstracts of the congress, which will be given to every registered participant upon their accreditation in the Registration Centre of the congress.
Guidelines for submission of abstracts
- Abstract title: must be in upper case letters in bold
- Author or author’s names: initial(s) of first name(s), family name- in upper case
- Author’s institution, city - in lower case
- Do not include tables, graphics, or charts. If necessary you can send them as e-mail attachment. The attachment must be in the Microsoft Word document format.
Technical Equipment
Format of Presentations – Audiovisual Equipment
In general, PC presentations only will be accepted. Presentations are acceptable only in the format Microsoft Powerpoint (.ppt, version 95, 97, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007), in which the video sequences (.avi (also DivX version) and .mpeg) may be incorporated. Video sequences may be put on individually. Files in the format .mov (quicktime) must be exported into the format .avi. Images must be in one of the following formats: .jpg, .gif, .tif, or .bmp (the format .pict is not acceptable). Also acceptable are Flash presentations and animations, set for full screen view. The presentations are to be submitted either on CD/DVD or USB keys. Presentations on other than the recommended media will not be accepted.
In case of any specific requirements for your presentation regarding technical / audiovisual equipment etc., please contact the office of Congress Prague on time well before the congress. Requirements brought up as late as in the course of the congress will not be satisfied.
Preview Point
The Preview Point will be directly located in the Congress Hall Prague A-D - Conference Room Madrid, Diplomat Hotel Prague, and will be clearly marked. It will be equipped for slide and computer projections.
Poster Presentations
The size of the workspace for placing the posters at the site of the congress: 180 cm (height) and 98 cm (width), bottom material: white lamino, installation with Velcro fastener – provided by the congress organiser. Poster presentations will be labelled with sequence numbers in accordance with the poster overview in the scientific programme.
