8th Czech-Slovak Congress of Forensic Medicine

Abstract submission

Active participation may be in the form of a free communication or a poster presentation.

The deadline applications, including abstracts, is May 22nd 2022.
Applications can be submitted using the online form only.

Possibility of publishing contributions.
The editors of the journal Folia Societatis Medicinae Legalis Slovacae offer the possibility of publishing the papers presented at the 8th Czech-Slovak Congress of Forensic Medicine as a full paper. Manuscripts prepared according to the instructions for the authors should be sent to the address: sidlo45@gmail.com until 30 June 2022. The complete instructions can be downloaded here.
 

Free communication


Technical specification for processing solicited presentations:

  • Length of lecture is 10 minutes, 5 minutes of discussion.
  • Presentation must be for Windows, Mac OS or Linux. Other platforms are not accepted.
  • The presentation must be for a Windows, Mac OS or Linux platform. Other platforms are not accepted.
  • Possible format: Microsoft Powerpoint - 2000, XP, 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013 and later.
  • You can insert video sequences in the format “.avi” or “.mpeg” into the presentation.
  • If a non-standard codec is used, you have to bring this codec with you on the portable media to play it on-site.
  • Videos can also be played separately.
  • Flash presentations and animations that are set to appear in fullscreen are also accepted.
  • Presentations are transmitted either on CD/DVD or USB. Other carriers are not accepted.

  • Poster section
  • It is a variant of active participation in a vocational program and is rated with the appropriate number of credits.
  • Specifications for poster presentation:
  • Installation on poster panels at the time indicated in the congress program (panel size 90 cm width, 180 cm height)
  • Poster panels (workspaces) are numbered per congressional program
  • One specific poster presentation is always placed on a single workspace
  • Poster specification:
  • dimensions max. 180 cm height x 90 cm width
  • material: white lamino
  • installation with “Velcro” (means of installation will be available on site)
